UPDATE OF PACIFIC GAMES INFORMATION AND SCHEDULE

With just one week to the start of the Boxing at the Pacific Games its shaping up to be a great tournament. so that there is no c onfusion and the meetings and sessions are run as smoothly as possible, the following information is provided by the Technical Delegate, Mr David Pike:  

As is the case in all major competitions, there have been several changes in the timings of meetings and schedules over the past months and so, in order to avoid any confusion, the following information is supplied.

All meetings will take place on Monday the 15th July, at the Jet Over Hotel. Boxing will commence on Tuesday the 16th July. There will be NO general weigh in, this is replaced by the Sports Entry Meeting.

MEETINGS:

O.C.B.C. GENERAL ASSEMBLY 11am
National Federation Delegates and approved visitors.

SPORTS ENTRY MEETING 2pm
This meeting MUST be attended by the Team Manager and/or Head Coach. At this meeting the Team manager or Head Coach must produce the following:
1. The Passports of all their competing boxers
2. The Blue Books of all their competing boxers
3. The Medical Forms for all their boxers (download from AIBA Technical and Competition Rules Appendix 5) which MUST have been completed within three months of the competition. Please note that medicals within the blue book will be accepted provided they are within three months of the competition
4. Anti Doping Forms signed by all boxers.(download from AIBA Technical and Competition Rules Appendix 6) copy attached to this e mail
5. Signed Non Pregnancy Forms applicable to female boxers only (down load from AIBA Technical and Competition Rules Appendix 7)
6. Boxers uniforms for inspection
(I'd politely request that you make every effort to comply with these requirements as we will be unable to move onto the Technical Meeting until the Sports Entry Meeting is finalised)

Teams will be notified at the Technical Meeting of any possible changes.
